The Raven Squad is the most mysterious unit of the Avengers. They rarely report in over battlefield radios — they simply appear. They don’t always communicate. Their missions are often critical and classified, yet they still fulfill their duties to the battalion and join general operations when needed. Their attire is dark and black, their helmets radiate mystery, and their presence alone carries an eerie, commanding silence.
They study Illuminate technology and culture extensively. To them, the Illuminate are a real and dangerous threat to Super Earth’s very existence — one that must be annihilated. Yet, they also believe that humanity can learn from the Illuminate, knowledge that could elevate mankind to new heights.
They are ready to fight on every front, but their primary target remains the Illuminate. Whenever an Illuminate-related Major Order comes in, they’re the first to deploy. They don’t always recruit new members, but from time to time, they seek worthy additions.
Because of this, the Raven Squad is a rather unusual unit.
Primary Weapons
- All AR-class rifles — chosen based on mission requirements.
Secondary Weapons
- Talon, Senator, Ultimatum — and other energy-based sidearms.
Support Stratagems
Typically chosen per mission, but their signature tools are the Jump Pack and Warp Pack. Mobility is their key advantage — these tools help them fight Illuminate hordes and aerial enemies efficiently.
Anti-Materiel Rifle and all LMGs. Recoilless Rifle if necessary. Guard Dog or Quasar Cannon (both types used situationally).
Offensive Stratagems
They favor all smoke variants (to disorient enemies), all Eagle support strikes, and their chosen orbital strike — the Railcannon.
Armor
Exterminator Helmet (signature look) Doubtkiller Armor (their standard battle gear) Occasionally Servants of Freedom Warbond armors.
The Raven Squad is a unique and enigmatic unit. Its members sometimes serve temporarily in other squads within the 116th Exterminator Battalion, fulfilling regular combat duties. But when the RAVEN Command is issued, they retreat into the shadows, don their mysterious armor, and answer only to that call.
